Trauma Therapy
For everything you've survived — and everything after
in-person in Seattle & online in WA
You don’t have to stay stuck.
Wondering if EMDR is right for you? We use evidence-based approaches proven to help you move through what's been holding you back. It might feel a little scary at first — but it's often the turning point people need to finally feel like themselves again.
Our Specialties
Anxiety & Depression: Anxiety and depression don't always look the way you'd expect. Sometimes it's constant worry, a racing mind, or a body that won't relax. Other times it's low energy, low motivation, or just going through the motions without really feeling present. They often show up together, feeding into each other in ways that can be hard to untangle. We help you get to the root of what's driving it, so you can feel calmer, more present, and more like yourself again.
PTSD & C-PTSD: Whether trauma came from a single event or built up over time, it can leave you feeling on edge, disconnected, or stuck. We help you understand what's happening and guide you back to feeling safe and like yourself again.
LGBTQ+ Issues: Finding a therapist who truly gets it shouldn't be so hard. Our care is LGBTQ+ affirming from the ground up, meaning your identity is never something to explain, justify, or tiptoe around here. We bring lived experience to this work, so we understand the specific weight of navigating identity, family, relationships, and the world as your full self.
First Responders & Healthcare Professionals: You spend your days holding it together for everyone else, showing up in the hardest moments and staying steady when things fall apart. But carrying that weight, shift after shift, takes a toll that doesn't just disappear when you clock out. We understand the specific pressures of this work, the exposure, the exhaustion, the expectation to always be okay, and help you process it in a space where you don't have to be strong.
Chronic Pain: Chronic pain isn't just physical — it wears on your mood, energy, and sense of self. We help you work through the mind-body connection, so pain has less control over your life and you can find more ease again.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
It's different for everyone. Some clients feel real shifts within a few months, others prefer ongoing support for deeper or longer standing patterns. We'll check in regularly so the pace always makes sense for you.
-
Talk therapy focuses on exploring and understanding your experiences through conversation. EMDR is a more structured approach that helps your brain reprocess distressing memories directly, often creating relief without needing to explain every detail out loud. Many clients benefit from a mix of both.
-
Our services are not in-network with insurance. However, we can provide superbills (an itemized copy of your session receipt) to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Check with your insurance to learn how much they reimburse for out-of-network services.
-
Not at all. Many clients come in just knowing something feels off, without a label for it. Part of our job is helping you understand what you're experiencing and figuring out the right path forward together. Diagnoses can be stigmatizing. Your therapist will discuss with you whether or not providing a DSM diagnosis is part of your treatment goal.
-
The first session is mostly about getting to know you, your history, what's bringing you in, and what you're hoping to get out of therapy. There's no pressure to share everything right away. It's the start of a conversation, not a test.

Yes. What you share in session is protected by confidentiality laws, with a few limited legal exceptions we'll walk you through during your first session (such as safety concerns).
